Dr. Martha Lee is a leading clinical sexologist from Singapore who has been in this field for over 8 years. She helps patients with spinal problems and patients in post spinal surgery rehabilitation.


Eleanor Dunstan is a consultant physiotherapist working at Nottingham University Hospitals. She works closely with patients with spinal problems and helps patients in post spinal surgery rehabilitation.


Dr.Areena Dsouza is a Spine Surgeon with experience in a spectrum of spinal conditions as well as spinal cord injury.


Dr. med. Bronek Boszczyk is a leading consultant Spinal Surgeon and Head of Department of Spinal Surgery based in Germany. He has a vast experience in a wide range of spinal conditions and spinal cord injury.


Cauda Equina Syndrome (CES) can be a devastating and confusing condition for persons diagnosed with it. With an incidence of about 1 in 100,000 population, this condition is not very common, nevertheless the impact it has on one’s life is immense. Sexual dysfunction is one of its significant manifestations, but few people discuss the implications it has on their lives, hence not seeking any advice or treatment for the same.


We at Sex and the Spine, understand the anxiety one faces and difficulties this can create in relationships. The videos in this package are between leading specialists in the field, and help shed light on what women and men with CES need to know about the effect on sexual function, the post operative phase, the role of partners, the importance of timely consultations with specialist’s and the various treatment aspects.
